Also in Saxon Switzerland there is now an old train wagon, called "Donnerbüchse" -Bj 1928- for overnight stays!
The 1st Bedroom / living room contains a double bed and a single bed.
The second. The bedroom / living room contains a double bed and is entered from the other side of the wagon. The car is only occupied with 1 family / booking! So you are among yourself ... ideal for a short vacation!
In the historic annex 10m away, we have set up a bathroom with a separate shower room, toilet room with sink and another washroom.
There is also a small kitchen / lounge for self-catering (breakfast / dinner) with sink, microwave, toaster, hot plate, kettle and fridge / freezer!
A seating area with a grill and a small playground are available.
You can have breakfast on weekends in the park café "Alter Bahnhof" next door from (8 a.m.).
Our restaurant is open until 8 p.m. on weekdays and until 10 p.m. on weekends.
Please note that the rail car does not have a standardized and only one-sided entry. You should use this to instruct accompanying children and older people!
With the booking you confirm our safety instructions for entering the train carriage.
There is a park in front of the station building in which a small 5-inch park railway does its rounds on Sundays and Mondays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. On request
a special trip is also possible.

In the neighboring town there is a beautiful outdoor pool and a show mine.
The Gottleubatal offers many hiking trails, u. a. to the dam and the view of Augustusberg.
The Czech border is 8 km away. To Prague (100 km) you need about 80 minutes driving time.
The neighboring Bielatal (12 km) is a paradise for climbers with children ...
Another apartment for max. 6 people are in the former station building above the park cafe.
