Due to its location, it also offers excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling tours, e.g. on the nearby Rennsteig or Jakobsweg trails. The famous Napoleon Trail runs right past the vacation home. The Stopfelskuppe is also nearby (approx. 2.2 km, approx. 33 minutes on foot or 17 minutes by bike). There is an opportunity for fishing on request approx. 1.5 km away on our own lake (rowing boat available). Use of the water at your own risk. The vacation home is also only approx. 11.5 km (approx. 13 minutes by car) from Gerstungen and approx. 13.1 km (approx. 16 minutes by car) from Eisenach and approx. 17.4 km (approx. 23 minutes by car) from Wartburg Castle.
