Situated in the centre of Esperaza but on a quiet street you are just a walk away from shops and cafe's and the vibrant sunday market selling local produce, clothes and gifts handmade by local artisans. The area itself is rich in history, Cathar castles, Templar legends, Rennes le Chateau, Dinosaur Museum, Bugarach, Galamus, Montsegur. Ideally placed between Quillan with its restaurants and Lake, Limoux with its town square full of places to eat or enjoy a coffee and with its summer night markets but also just a 40 minute drive to Carcassonne with the beautiful Cite. Lots of sporting activities are also available in the area for example white water rafting, kayaking, horse riding, trekking and bicycle routes.
