L’Heriter is a very well appointed 3 bedroomed gite that sleeps 5 people. All bedding and towels both for the bathrooms and pool are provided.
There is an outdoor covered terrace with a BBQ for dining and a large swimming pool with stunning views of the nearby lake and surrounding countryside.
There is a pretty courtyard with access to the pool, this may be shared with other guests from time to time.
The gite is centrally heated and has a wood burner to keep you warm during a winter getaway.
Whilst being the perfect haven of peace and tranquility you are only a 5 minute drive from the busy market town of Villereal that has a large supermarket, a good choice of restaurants, bars and amenities.
The bastide town of Monpazier is only 8km away and is listed as one of the Plus Beaux Villages in France and is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Bergerac airport is within a 30 minute drive. Bordeaux and Toulouse International Airports are both 2 hours away.
Situated on the border of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne we are perfectly located for you to enjoy all that the region has to offer.
The Dordogne River is within a half hour drive for pleasure boat excursions and canoeing.
Horse riding stables and numerous golf courses are within easy reach.
Local vineyards offer wine tours and tastings.
During the summer months each village has a weekly gourmand night market where you can sample all the local produce, buy wine and enjoy live music.
The gite forms part of a larger property where the owners live all year round. We also have accomodation for other guests in our studio and B&B room. However, whilst being on hand for any enquiries the property lends itself perfectly to everyone maintaining their own privacy.
