Our cabin, as we like to call it, sits on a hill overlooking Daniels Lake in Nikiski, Alaska. It sits off the road on 3 acres with tons of privacy and visiting eagles and moose. The sounds of the loons on our property will lull you to sleep. On clear days you can see the mountains to the north. The cabin was finished in 2017 and everything inside is fairly new as this is our second home. The large picture windows in our living room allow for lots of light and beautiful views. We have a great garden window above the sink to bring in more light and air. Our master bedroom is very peaceful with its trapezoid windows and a door that opens to a covered deck outside. We love the deck on nice, sunny days.
At the bottom of the hill, we have a dock by the lake where you can fish and get out on the canoe. We also have a firepit outside of the cabin where you can enjoy your smores!
