Summary: I stayed at this property for 4 days while visiting the Loire Valley. Due to my lifelong love of horses, it particularly attractive to me, and I wasn't disappointed. The apartment is an efficiency very modern and well decorated, with all necessary "live in" conveniences, including a small patio. It is well furnished and well maintained. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept well.The lovely view of wildflowers and woodland outside was peaceful and relaxing. The farm property is large and the buildings are set well back from the small farm road at the front. Therefore, it is amazingly quiet. I love animals of all types and enjoyed watching rabbits, birds, and lizards right outside my door. Contentment magnified! Alain met me on my arrival, showed me the features of the apartment, and invited me to visit the stable, meet the horses, and watch the high level dressage riding. To my amazement, when I took him up on this, he took the time to explain the movements he was doing, furthering my education in dressage. Jorg was away the first day, but sought me out the next day to make certain I was enjoying my stay. We had a number of pleasant conversations. Both men were immediately available if I needed anything, but the apartment was so well prepared that wasn't necessary. As an elderly woman traveling alone, everything about this rental fit my needs perfectly. It definitely felt like "home away from home". If ever in this area again, I will look forward to revisiting.
