Summary: Casa Obe was my last stop during 3 weeks of beach travel and it was the perfect ending! First the hosts JuanCarlos & Valentina welcome you like old friends! Alba will make you whatever you want and is an excellent cook, and Yammy makes a mean Chelada! What I loved was I felt like I was in a hippie town of the 70's but with modern convenience. Simple rooms are that simple, but totally adequate for a low key beach stay. Rooms have A/C and fan, beds are comfy and the pool is fantastic! My time went by sooo fast that I wish I could have extended it by a few days. Go with friends and book a few rooms you will have the place to yourselves! There is a small Capilla (Chapel) at the top of a hill next door and a crocodile lake just a few hundred meters away. If you are looking to host a yoga retreat or team building program this would be a great place! The beach is endless and deserted - you will have it all to yourself. Note - this is not a swimming beach but the hosts will be happy to give you a lift to Hualtulco during the week so you can spend the day at the swimming, snorkeling beaches. Zapotengo beach is beautiful!
